I am a Mandarin instructor with experience teaching the Chinese language to learners of all ages and levels of proficiency. My goal is to help students develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin Chinese in a fun and engaging way. I have a deep understanding of Chinese culture, history, and traditions, which allows me to provide my students with a comprehensive understanding of the language and its nuances. I use a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to the different learning styles and needs of my students, ensuring that they are always challenged and motivated.

Lorena Rivera has been a successful instructor and entrepreneur who has the skills and knowledge that is unparalleled in the world language industry.  She has worked at My Amigos Bilingual Center, Lake Murray Montessori School, St. Martin de Porras Catholic School, and The Language Buzz since 2015.  In addition, she has earned her degrees in Office Management from the American Business Academy in San Jose, Costa Rica and in Child Development Associate in South Carolina.

Our language coaches will assist middle and high school students with their foreign language classes through with homework assignment feedback, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and verb drills. Help your child gain confidence in the classroom!
